For a sustainable democracy in Pakistan we are obliged to take the following steps so that the needs can be addressed appropriately.
i. Freedom of press should be assured.
ii. The effective opposition parties which are the pillars of a democratic system.
iii. Strong central government which guarantees a strong federal government.
iv. Secular government as adopted by the India to counter Talibinization and sectarianism.
v. Rule of law that protects and safeguards the rights of people in democracy.
vi. Reforms are needed in educational system.
vii. Strong public opinion which can only be formed by effective political institutions.
viii. To curb the role of military from politics.
ix. To ensure the betterment in law and order situation so that the possibility of military intervention can be curbed.
x. To expedite the arrangements of election.
